SIALOR® effectively stimulates saliva flow and is effective for long-term use2,3.

SIALOR® increases salivary secretion to help treat xerostomia through the drug’s action on the secretory cells of the salivary glands.2

Symptoms of chronic dry mouth include4-6:

  • Mouth feels dry or sticky, despite drinking water

  • Difficulty eating, swallowing, or speaking

  • Mouth sores, pain or bad breath

Ingredients:

Medicinal ingredient: Anetholtrithion.

Non-medicinal ingredients: Anticaking Sucrose, Cochineal Red A, E Wax, Gelatin, Gum Arabic, Guar Gum, Hydrated Colloidal Silica, Lactose, Magnesium Stearate, Sucrose, Sunset Yellow S, Talc, Titanium Dioxide and Wheat Starch.

Indication:

For the treatment of oral symptoms of xerostomia in order to reverse drug-induced hyposialosis related to the administration of certain drugs (neuroleptics, tranquilizers, antidepressants, synthetic antiparkinsonian agents) or following a course of radiotherapy of the head and neck area.

Dosage:

Adults: 3 tablets per day, 1 before each meal. Usually, the full effect of the drug develops gradually over several days of treatment.

Contraindications:

Jaundice, cirrhosis, biliary tract or common bile duct obstruction.

Warnings and precautions:
  • Rare cases of soft stools
  • Should not be used in pregnancy or lactation unless deemed essential to the
welfare of the mother and/or fetus
Storage:

Store between 15°C and 30°C.
